It is time for us to see the truth for what it is, to refuse to be muzzled by political correctness, to begin to frame the narrative as we see it, and to boldly find our voices in the defense of our republic. 
The American Dream, purchased by the blood and sacrifice of those who have come before us, is the inheritance which we must preserve for our children, our grandchildren , and all future generations of America. We are now the stewards of the Dream, the defenders of the Constitution, entrusted to act as the Founders envisioned, engaged in the daily governance of our nation.
We have been taught "The meek shall inherit the earth."

The Year 2012 - R.I.P.  

It's finally over. A year filled with disappointments and tragedies. A year that revealed a new American society eager to sacrifice freedom for hand outs. A society intent on receiving instant gratification and dismissing any sense of personal responsibility. A society willing to mortgage their children's future for free stuff right now.

As we begin the new year we must reevaluate our past actions, take an honest look at the future and plan accordingly. How do we change our culture? How do we restore the values that made America a special place? How do we deal with representatives who disregard the Constitution and who will not stop their unconscionable spending? How do we approach a Republican party that has proven to be traitorous and complicit in the demise of our nation? How do we find and support true conservatives with the sacrifice of our time, talent and treasure?

Many questions - no easy answers, yet we must move forward. 

As we at Veritas continue to work out our agenda for 2013, let's all take advantage of other opportunities as they present themselves. Our first meeting of the year has not yet been scheduled since we did so much at the end of 2012. We will move forward reviewing the comments and suggestions you provided and use that as the focus of our initial meeting.
